The Belly Dancer® Water Bath provides the bench scientist with the most versatile water bath on the market. With its quick heating (3°C per minute) it can be used for dozens of applications in a single day. Used in conjunction with the Belly Dancer® Shaker, the water bath provides the ideal agitation for northern and southern blot hybridization and stringency washes as well as in Situ hybridizations (ISH), electrophoretic gel manipulations, hot staining protocols and numerous other applications. Used by itself, the bath is well suited for many common protocols not needing agitation, such as inactivation of serums, enzyme digests, quantitative protein assays and DNA sequencing.
